Wimberley Trail of Lights

Looking for a great holiday experience?

Check out Wimberley's Trail of Lights.

It opens the day after Thanksgiving and is lit through New Year's Eve, so there is plenty of time to catch it.

My dad was in town visiting and wanted to see the Trail of Lights, but Zilker closed down before he got into town.  So, looking for another option, we stumbled into this gem!

This is a smaller event then Zilker's Trail of Lights, but in some ways more fun.

The crowd when we went was much smaller, and it is more of a go-at-your-own pace.

Wander through the various lighted displays; most designed and put up by local families or businesses.

They have a large campfire.  On the night we were there, they had free hot chocolate and marshmallows for roasting!  They have a great concession stand, where you can purchase hot dogs to grill over their Yule Log (or get them pre-grilled - your choice!)

We found the Wimberley Trail of Lights a great way to ring in the holiday spirit!
